The State of the Union

As of Nov. 7, 2012, our national debt increased by 1/4 of a Trillion Dollars.  And the year is not done yet. Advancing the Obama agenda by increasing taxes of the working will generate less additional taxes than what the deficit has increased thus far this year.

As of Nov. 14, 2012, the head of the CIA, General Petraeus has resigned because of an extramarital affair that could have compromised his effectiveness at the CIA.

As of the election, the public was not made aware of what was known prior to the Libya assassinations by the President or the Sec. of State (Hillary Clinton).  Likewise, Americans were not provided the facts to determine whether the President should be re-elected based upon his non-actions to avert the Libya assassinations.

As of the election, the public was told by the White House that Libya was the result of a comedic video. We soon learned this was not true and CONTRARY to the information provided the White House by the CIA PRIOR TO the video announcement.

As of Nov. 14, 2012, the press continues printing a political agenda opposed to its historical 4th branch of government status to insure that the public is aware of actual events as opposed to political rhetoric. Recent examples are the gov't versions of the Viet Nam War and Watergate opposed to the actual facts elucidated by the press through extensive investigation.

The above non-all-inclusive summary is evidence that our leadership is non-existant and that extraordinary actions are necessary to insure the survival of our once great nation.  Whether we like it or not the following are some actions which must take place recognizing that the Republican House has control of what Federal programs are funded:
1.  Defund Obamacare as we cannot afford its broad sweeping and controversial elements. Further, it places a premium on future medical personnel transferring to some other, less controlled profession.
2.  Eliminate the present free medical care at any medical institution for all non-life threatening illnesses.
3.  Continue a favorable capital gains tax to insure continued investments in the company's that provide jobs in the US.
4.  Redefine the definition of "totally disabled" to insure that able bodied individuals do not become wards of the gov't when they can actually work.
5.  Eliminate the payment of welfare benefits for having children. Americans do not have an inalienable right to have children that the gov't pays for.
6. Defund Section 8 housing payments which contributes to the ruination of the working class suburbs and contributes to the National Debt.
7.  Eliminate the Dept. of Education and substitute it with the Dept. of Employment, one of its purposes to insure that people receiving any type of gov't assistance does not simultaneously work under the table and hence not pay their fair share of taxes.
8. Eliminate all non-essential spending for all politically motivated proposals by both parties.
9. Limit Senatorial terms to 12 years and house terms to 6-8 years.

The bottom line as to the economy is not more taxation but less spending.  We can no longer afford to have 47% of the country on some type of welfare.  We must return to the old days when all peoples regardless of color thought first of obtaining any job to help their progeny opposed to deciding which state to move to which offered the most welfare services.

Obama's Foreign Policy?

It's been too long since my last blog. The latest series of Mid Eastern Events has forced me to again pull out the laptop.  One ambassador down and how many to go? Apparently, the administration doesn't care based upon its non-existant foreign policy. Or, I should say, its policy of attempted appeasement to the Muslim World. Not 2 weeks in office and there the "Great Orator" was in the Mid East apologizing for the United States. Apologizing for what--attempting to allow people to govern themselves and have some individual freedoms that we have had for over two hundred years.  Now, 4 years later we have  an extremist Arab World taking advantage of the impression Obama has left on the world. That is, a country that no longer stands for world freedom or a country that has abandoned its allies throughout the world.  With this as a backdrop, the extremists, whether 5 or 10% of the population, has organized an anti-american world wide rally agains freedom and the US.  Civilians, soldiers, an ambassador and countless others were killed because of a lack of foreign policy.  Next, comes the problem with Iran that cannot be ignored. Are we to abandon Israel so that Iran can threaten with a nuclear arsenal within 6-8 months. If this is not stopped now, the post nuclear Iran will be too terrifying to imagine.  Prior to WWII, Chamberlain attempted to appease Hitler.  Worked out well, don't you think. Even in the movie, Mars Attacks the US president's statement (played by Jack Nicholson) "Why can't we all get along" likewise worked out well. No one likes war.  But mankind has been warring since first able to pick up a rock. Perhaps the time has come for an all out confrontation against all these mid east terror groups and Iran before it becomes to late.  While Romney may not be the best, he can only be better than what we have.

What Economy?

The US as with most of Europe does not have an Economy.  Think about it, an economy consists of an economic system of a country.  In other words, a planned system to insure that a country's monetary existence is stable.  Does anybody actually believe that the way politicians are running Europe and the US that there is an economic system.  Other than Germany, whose unemployment rate dropped to 6.9% as of Nov. 30, 2011, no other western country is close to having a plan for future economic growth.  The reasons are fairly simple:  1.  More blue collar jobs are needed; 2.  government expenditures must decrease; (welfare, housing subsidies and unnecessary highway subsidies such as the planned $500,000,000 bus lane between Hartford and New Britain, Ct., a multimillion dollar housing project in Manchester, CT. for unwed mothers, food payouts for alleged losses during storms etc.)  To this, add the Union Philosophies that wages and benefits must increase every year and the retirement age should decrease and you'll understand why we are in the bind we're in.  What is needed are politicians that will not buy votes through the use of every type of welfare program and will actually do what is necessary for all the county's of the world.  The theorem that half the population works and the other half lives off those that work is no longer tenable.

There is No Federal Deficit

To review the actions of most politicians, especially democrats, one would think there is not a deficit.  The dems still want to increase taxes for those that pay most of the taxes and the republicans do not focus sufficiently on creating new jobs or eliminating or significantly reducing the social costs that provide no incentive to work but rather provide an incentive to grow a population that increasingly depends on the federal government for earnings without working.  $560 Billion Dollars paid for medicaid and chip (benefits for the unworking) and $496 Billion paid for families facing a hardship (low income housing, food stamps, housing assistance, heating assistance etc.) 1.  That's a total of 1 trillion, 56 billion dollars spent to continue the incentive not to work.  Do you think this money would be wiser spent to provide jobs for those currently on the breast of Uncle Sam?  The dems might lose votes if they did this as this socialistic  public assistance is no more than payment for a vote.  Since the republicans don't seem to tackle this bull by the horns,  they are no better than the Dems.  What the working people of America need to do is complain and write there representatives and advise them of the foregoing.  Only with a reduction of these social costs can all American's have the pride that comes from supporting a family and avoid the economic woes of Greece, Italy and France.

Politicians and Entitlements

Last week I read that there is a joint effort among Republicans and Democrats to reduce the deficit by 4 trillion dollars.  Sounds good-right.  Not they way they intend on accomplishing it.  The new plan would increase tases and reduce or adversely impact medicare, medicaid and social security.  Of course, these are true entitlements as those receiving medicare and social security worked their way (for the most part) into acquiring these benefits.  On the other hand, neither party desires to take the bulls by the horns and eliminate certain unnecessary welfare programs such as Section 8 housing, medicaid, free cell phones and payment to pump out children that will continue in the foot steps of their parents.  Without these degrading social benefits people will have to work to have children and have a better life like our grandparents and parents.  Who knows, they may actually have to contribute to society by paying taxes and taking pride in their accomplishments and not the governments.  If these socialist morons don't change their ways, not only will our businesses move out of the country but its citizens will denounce their US citizenship and move elsewhere.  Who will then pay the bill?

The Deficit

The two most important items Congress and the President must deal with are reducing the deficit now and employment.   The deficit is simple--spend less.  How?  Eliminate all unnecessary expenditures.  Hire experts from industry and have them review all governmental expenditures and detail all that should be eliminated.  Whoever votes against the recommendations could be publicized nationwide via internet and everyone would be wise to vote against any such politico.  How to increase employment?  Ask the top 500 American companies how to bring jobs back to the US and follow the recommendations.  It could be a lot simpler than Politico's make it.  The problem-Dems won't eliminate social give-aways as they are the people that will keep them in Office.

Racist or Prejudiced?

I would suspect that most Americans like myself, my family and my friends are not racist nor do they discriminate on the basis of Race, Color or Creed.  However, they and I do discriminate and am prejudiced  on the basis of WORK ETHIC.  Yes, WORK ETHIC.  No one cares whether someone is Jewish, Catholic, Italian, black, Chinese or Japanese.  If they work and have pride in this accomplishment, then we would consider them friends and good Americans.  Think of all the minorities, Jewish, Italian, Asian, Black and Hispanics that came to this country and took menial jobs in hopes of a better life for their progeny.  They had pride and deserve whatever this country has to offer.  The country has faltered on the brink of despair because this is no longer the case.  Our politicians have created a welfare state wherein there is more of an incentive to obtain free food, free rent, free heat, free cellphones, free housing and of course, free money for having as many children as possible that will only add to America's sorry state.  This is what we are prejudiced against, not race, religion or creed.  And until we start to eliminate this welfare mentality, the US will be on the road to destruction like Greece, Italy, France and Spain.  You may ask why I am addressing this now.  Well, I just read where Al Sharpton has publicly criticized Herman Cain by questioning whether he was authentically Black.  Why,  
because Mr. Cain rose from the shambles of a segregated south by earning his Masters Degree and becoming a Vice-President for the Pillsbury Company and the former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City or because his father worked 3 jobs and his mother was a cleaning lady.  Al Sharpton is the bigot who uses the race card as a means to avoid the hard truth about a "Work Ethic".  I would vote for Mr. Cain not because he's black but because he's the best qualified to run this country.  Unlike those guilty liberals who voted for Obama simply because he was black and inexperienced.  If Mr. Cain could team up with an American Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir,  we'd have one hell of a leadership combo to rise America from the Ashes of Despair and Complacency to what our Founding Fathers fought for.  WAKE UP AMERICA!
